Working as a Chef Manageryou will oversee daily foodservice operations in a corporate location. You will establish and maintain systems and procedures for the ordering, receiving, storing, preparing and serving of food and related products, as well as menu planning and development including catering events within the location.

The Chef Manager ensures that requirements for appropriate sanitation and safety levels in respective areas are met and coordinates and supervises unit personnel regarding production, quality and cost control; labor scheduling and staffing; team member training. Oversee the performance of unit including budget development, sales and profitability

You will also be responsible for daily interaction and development with the client and client's customers and/or team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full culinary management of food service operation to include inventory, ordering and receiving

  • Knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation

  • Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable

  • Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products.

  • Possess a passion for sustainability

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The individual will maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, sanitation and safety

  • Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree or a minimum of three to five years of relevant experience.

  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a Chef Manager

  • Additional experience in catering is a plus

  • Must possess strong leadership, communication and organizational skills

  • Possess knowledge of current food trends

  • Proficient in MS Office
