Compass Group is selectively recruiting for an /HR INTERNSHIP (FIELD HR SUPPORT)/ opportunity within our Touchpoint and Morrison Community Living HR department.
*Date of Internship: *10 – 12 weeks; 35 - 40 hour work week (Monday – Friday)
*Location: *Charlotte, NC
This position will assist the Eurest Field HR team with projects that include opportunities to learn the different aspects of Human Resources, including recruitment, retention, employment branding & engagement, and associate development. Gain hands-on experience and familiarity with project development, management, marketing, and HR strategy!
/Junior// or Senior /majoring in Communications, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field
Strong organizational and technical skills
Professional written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, strong Excel preferred
An interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources
Acquire hands-on experience while working with an innovative, energetic and collaborative team
Apply knowledge learned in the classroom
Gain invaluable corporate work experience
Broaden career experience via job shadowing key team members
Get a foot in the door for future opportunities and build valuable networking contacts
Work for a global organization’s North American headquarters, based in Charlotte, North Carolina

As an intern, you will be working closely with Compass Group leaders developing skills and competencies to be successful in the industry. You will gain valuable experience in any of the following areas: operations, marketing, administration, guest services, problem solving, planning and implementation of innovative projects, and client relationship skills. This internship involves hands-on experiences which will provide opportunities for your personal success and development.
Must be enrolled in a college/university or technical program to receive credit or hands on experience
Learn, observe and practice a variety of experiences in our industry
Demonstrate awareness, understanding and skills necessary to work in a diverse environment
Excellent writing and editing skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills
