Job Summary:

Based at our Sandy Springs office, the Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Sr. Manager of Finance and will provide financial and data support to the corporate and operations leadership and regional teams for the overall company to improve operational performance and drive financial results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Financial Analyst will be a primary point of contact for fringe financial support within Morrison Community Living and Touchpoint Support Services sectors.

  • Responsible for closing out the Fringe P&Ls each month including month end journal entries, review of Balance Sheet, and review of P&L

  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budgets and strategic planning process for overall Company related to fringe benefit accounting

  • Coordinate the forecasting of financial results and present the results for fringe benefit accounting to executive management to drive results

  • Responsible for maintaining and managing payroll fringe rates

  • Analyze new payroll business sales opportunities and provide financial impact to the Company

  • Actively work with Payroll Sales and Operations to ensure fringe margin guidelines are maintained

  • Maintain the Payroll Sales Methodology tool used to bid new business

  • Responsible for management and tracking of key metrics for the current executive teams

  • Track financial performance for operational and corporate programs and initiatives

  • Responsible for maintaining and developing financial dashboards within our internal financial reporting package (Qlikview)

  • Position will be responsible for implementing business tools and processes and coordinating training efforts

  • Position will work on new business deals and/or other projects as assigned by Payroll Sales and/or Finance Team

  • Other ad hoc projects within Finance as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA in Finance or Accounting is required

  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience in Accounting or Finance with a demonstrated record of advancement (1-2 years in accounting environment strongly preferred, Payroll and Benefit experience is a plus)

  • Proficiency in Excel and Access for effective management of vast amounts of data and to develop advanced financial models

  • Preferred experience with SAP in running queries and reports as well as experience with Essbase/Hyperion, VBA, and/or Qlikview

  • Strong organizational and planning skills with ability to set goals and objectives, and timelines to efficiently meet tasks

  • Ability to effectively manage and extend influence across multiple layers of the organization

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; must be comfortable presenting in front of groups and different levels of management

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional image
