Job Description:

Responsibility is to establish a welcome, warm and professional atmosphere for all clients, recruits, customers and employees. The Receptionist will be the first impression to all and will operate the switchboard in addition to being the point of contact for all visitors, making sure guests feel comfortable and secure throughout their visit.

We are looking for that high caliber candidate who understands the importance of exceptional guest services. Our guests expect the best and we deliver!The candidate we select will have at least 2 yrs of guest relations, supervisory experience in a luxury hotel environment; college degree or equivalent – Hospitality School preferred.

*The initial schedule will be Monday - Friday from 1pm-10pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests.

  • Anticipate and address guests' service needs.

  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation.

  • Assist guests in all guest service matters including concierge requests.

  • Assist with ongoing training for Receptionists, to ensure consistently high level of professionalism.

  • Oversee performance appraisals, coaching and counseling of reception associates.

  • Make appropriate service recovery gestures in order to ensure total guest satisfaction.

  • Promote team work and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals.

  • Ensure front desk work area is kept clean and in an orderly state at all times.

  • Provide a professional, efficient arrival and departure experience for our guests while creating a memorable stay.

  • Strong customer service and organizational skills.

  • Willing to go the extra step to ensure guest satisfaction.

  • Friendly, outgoing demeanor and enthusiasm for the job.

  • Excellent Computer skills, hotel property software preferred.

  • Discreet, ethical and committed to maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Previous hospitality experience strongly preferred.

  • Must possess a professional presentation.

  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.

  • Highly responsible & reliable.

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.

  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.

  • Multiple language a plus.

  • College degree, Hospitality School preferred.
