In this position, you would be responsible for delivering against Foodbuy’s people strategies in the areas of recruitment, onboarding and orientation, learning and development, talent planning, compensation, associate engagement, people analytics, legal compliance and employee relations.

What Will You Do?
While each day will be different--- the key responsibilities are providing generalist support for your assigned internal clients in the areas of:
Hiring, Onboarding, & Orientating of New Associates
Liaison with recruiting team to ensure positive candidate experience
Facilitate panel interviews and support with interview structure & decisions
Draft offer letters, oversee completion and organization of new hire paperwork and personnel files, including ensuring compliance with background check and Form I-9 and E-Verification processes
Support the creation of tailored training plans and execution of Company’s onboarding program
Input associate information into SAP and maintain information as it changes (from address changes, tax withholdings, name changes, to pay increases)
Employee Relations & Employee Engagement
Interpret and communicate various HR policies and procedures and ensure consistent and fair execution across teams
Coach associates and management through performance and employee relations issues. Provides guidance to management on appropriate disciplinary action if needed
Maintains and coordinates associate recognition and Be-A-Star programs
Supports associate engagement survey interpretation/feedback process
Identify critical need areas related to retention and takes appropriate steps to rectify problems
Learning & Development
Support managers and associates with the creation of thoughtful and effective Personalized Development Plans and Training Plans
Oversight of HR SharePoint platform where HR program documents are housed and utilized by managers and associates
Work with leadership team to complete succession planning, and potential/performance calibration studies. Use data to assess team needs, specifically making recommendations on associate development and strategies for building bench and increasing associate retention
Internship & Rotational Undergraduate Program
Provide coordination and facilitation for the Company’s Internship and Undergraduate Rotational programs
Provide support to HR Director in areas of compensation studies, bonus and merit process facilitation, annual performance appraisals, and other HR projects
Got the Goods? (aka “requirements”)
5+ years human resources generalist experience required
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required; Master’s degree a plus.
PHR or SPHR designation strongly preferred
Previous experience as part of a centralized HR environment, preferably in a corporate setting
Ideal candidate has experience providing HR support for a professional associate population
Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication and ability to collaborate with a broad range of individuals
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Prezi, Adobe, and Visio preferred
Strong presentation skills required
Ability to travel approximately 15%
